New team to support global release of Auto Car Revolution

Eutechnyx to open London publishing office

UK developer Eutechnyx is to open up a new London publishing office to support the release of its free-to-play online game Auto Club Revolution.

The news comes after the studio received a regional growth fund of £1.8million last month from the government, which the company said would be used to create 190 jobs for a new publishing operation.

“We’re building a dedicated publishing team to support the global launch of Auto Club Revolution in key markets around the world," said Eutechnyx COO Darren Jobling, as reported by gamesinudstry.biz.

"Our strategy is to secure the best people from the online games industry, and London gives us great access to an amazingly rich talent pool.”

He added: “The development team in the North East of the UK includes some of the best people in the sector, and the opening of a London office will allow us to attract the right calibre of candidate to build a team with the publishing power behind it that the game deserves."

The online racing game and car community project is due for release next year, with an open beta expected in February 2012.
