Final Fantasy creator’s studio seeking monster designers

Lost Odyssey and Blue Dragon developer Mistwalker is hoping to bolster its ranks.

The studio was founded and is headed by original Final Fantasy creator Hironobu Sakaguchi, and has been working on mobile titles since 2012, including its most recent release, Terra Battle.

Sakaguchi tweeted that Mistwalker is on the lookout for new recruitment, particularly focusing on designers with experience creating monsters and backgrounds, along with a link to the Japanese firm’s careers page.

He previously announced that 2016 would be focused on the word ‘new’ for Mistwalker, with an ‘original’ project with a ‘new worldview’ in the works.

Whether that title will be the formerly-teased console spin-off of Terra Battle remains to be seen.
