Hamburg-based mobile developer Fishlabs has hired three founders of former collaborator Anima Entertainment.
Hans Hamm, Nicolas Born and Tobias Weber all assume senior roles at Fishlabs, and will help push numerous projects at the company, including its first, yet to be named multiplayer title.
"Due to our successful cooperation in the past, we already know Hans, Nicolas and Tobias as skilled and committed partners, who do not only have a lot of talent and work experience, but also a true passion for games," says Michael Schade, CEO of Fishlabs Entertainment.
"At Fishlabs all three of them will be hired as seniors or leads in their respective fields of expertise. We’re sure that every one of them will be a valuable addition to our team and a tremendous help in the realisation of our upcoming projects, such as the development of our first multiplayer title, the expansion of our highly successful brand game business and, of course, the advancement of the Galaxy on Fire series."
Hamm will join the Fishlabs team as senior engine and tools engineer, Born as lead game designer, and Weber as senior producer.
Hamm, Born and Weber worked, in their roles at Anima, on a number of projects in collaboration with Fishlabs, such as the Volkswagen Golf GTI 35 and Earth Defender games.
Despite three of its founders moving to Fishlabs, Anima continues to operate normally as a developer in Bremen, Germany
