Submissions for the Game Connection America Selected Projects and Marketing Awards ends this Friday.
The Selected Projects contest is open to developers across all formats, and there is no restriction on genre or distribution method.
The competition has been split into three categories, console and PC hardcore, Mobile (Tablet and handheld), and social, casual and online (web and mobile).
After the deadline, the submissions will be whittled down to a shortlist of 15 projects in early February 2014. Each of the finalists will then be invited to Game Connection America to pitch their idea to publishers, distributors and buyers. Nominees will receive free passes, discounts and will have their trailer shown to attendees.

Event organisers are also asking marketing professionals, agencies and in-house marketing teams to submit their campaigns before January 10th.
The awards are split into eight categories, including Best Digital Campaign, Best Mobile Campaign, Best Social Media Campaign, Best Experimental Campaign, Best Broadcast Campaign, Best PR Campaign, Best Original Content and Best Overall Campaign. The prizes will be presented on March 17th.
