Flash UI solution now fully entwined with LightSpeed toolset

Gamebryo adds deeper Scaleform GFx integration

Emergent and Scaleform have signed a new partnership that will see Scaleform GFx integrated even more deeply than before into Gamebryo LightSpeed.

As part of the new integration, available to licensees of both technologies, Scaleform components can now be employed in a drog-and-drop manner in LightSpeed’s ToolBench application. Developers can now access Scaleform Video with no coding, plus coders can access Flash objects and values directly through C++ or Lua code, plus a new set of sample projects.

“Working closely with Emergent we created a deeply integrated experience, where LightSpeed fully leverages the latest version of Scaleform, including our new CLIK Flash UI framework and integrated Video codec, along with Adobe Flash studio to accelerate visual development production time,” said Brendan Iribe, president and CEO of Scaleform.

“We were very impressed with the flexibility of LightSpeed and will continue working with Emergent to provide future feature updates that further streamline workflow.”Gamebryo adds deeper Scaleform GFx integration
