Business site joins Develop and MCV as partner for UK's biggest games conference backs LGC

Trade website has thrown its weight behind the upcoming London Games Conference.

LGC is the essential business forum and networking event for decision makers within the interactive entertainment sector, examining the challenges within a fast-changing market and new business models.

GameStop, Valve, OnLive and PopCap are just some of the many speakers scheduled to speak at the November 10th conference. has come on board as media partner and will cover the event on-site, along with Intent Media publications Develop and MCV.

“London Games Conference has quickly established itself as an ideal event for the industry to network and hear about the future of the business from top executives,” said Eurogamer managing director Rupert Loman.

The annual LGC this year takes place at a new venue – One Wimpole Street – and features for the first time interactive voting during the session. The event kicks off at 4pm for four hours of incisive keynotes and talks about the digital issues the games industry faces, with perspectives from retailers, digital distributors and publishers. The conference is followed by dinner and networking.
