GDC: Paradox unveils three new indie IPs

Swedish publisher Paradox Interactive has unveiled three new indie IPs currently in in development.

The games include The Showdown Effect, being developed by Magicka studio Arrowhead Games, Dungeonland, created by Critical Studio and Red Frontier, which is being headed up by Zeal Game Studio.

The Showdown Effect is described as a “2.5D multiplayer action game” that offers “an infinite amount of ways to customise your gameplay”, be that characters, stages, weapons or game modes.

Dungeonland is a fantasy co-op dungeon crawler set in a theme park, whilst Red Frontier will be a “new style” of competitive sci-fi RTS where users fight over resources.
