Japanese video game company Gungho Online Entertainment has brought in around $4.5m in revenue per day during the first nine months of 2014.
Gamasutra reports on the astounding figure, adding that the firm has made $1.22bn in revenue and $680m in operating profits this year as well. Revenue is still largely being driven by Gungho’s extremely popular mobile title Puzzle and Dragons.
The company further revealed it has purchased a 70 per cent majority stake in US-based mobile social game network PlayPhone.
GungHo was also in the news earlier this week for itspublishing deal with Skulls of the Shogun and Galak-Z developer 17-Bit.
