Title will be exclusive to PlayStation VR

Halo composer and designer announce debut VR title Golem

Highwire Games, the studio founded by Halo composer Marty O’Donnell, former Bungie designer Jaime Griesemer and Airtight Games co-creator Jared Noftle, has revealed its first game.

Show off in a brief teaser at Sony’s PlayStation Experience event, Golem will be exclusive to PlayStation VR.

Although details are scarce, the title will allow players to take control of the lead hero, who has the ability to control and commune with the titular creatures.

Highwire produced an in-engine trailer demonstrating the separation between the hero and the Golem they control.

The trailer sees the blue-eyed monster roaming through an abandoned city.

No release date has yet been confirmed – although, with PlayStation VR due next year, it seems quite likely that a 2016 launch could be on the cards.
