Today, Epic Games will deliver its yearly State of Unreal keynote presentation, live from GDC 2017 in San Francisco. Their keynote will discuss everything to do with Unreal, showing the latest developments for their popular Unreal Engine.
The event will be hosted by Epic Game’s CEO and Founder Tim Sweeney, and it’ll be livestreamed on the company’s Twitch, YouTube and Facebook, if you want to watch it yourself. It’ll go live at 9:30am PST/5:30PM GMT.
What can we expect? Last year, Epic showed off its shiny new VR Editor and demonstrated real-time cinematography tech with the help of Ninja Theory’s Hellblade. They also gave presentations on how McLaren, Disney and even NASA were using Unreal’s engine.
This year, we could see more about Unreal’s non-games applications, and a more detailed breakdown on the further advances planned for the engine over the next 12 months.
