Brawler Feral Rites and multiplayer battler The Unspoken follow previously revealed VR debut Edge of Nowhere

Insomniac announces two extra Oculus Rift exclusives

Insomniac has bolstered its upcoming virtual reality line-up with two new titles.

The Ratchet and Clank, Sunset Overdrive and Song of the Deep studio previously announced its first VR game, Edge of Nowhere, exclusively for the Oculus Rift.

Like that title, Feral Rites and The Unspoken will also be developed in collaboration with Oculus, and launch just on the Rift headset.

Feral Rites is a narrative-driven brawler that allows players to transform into a beast, and is set for release in Autumn.

The Unspoken puts a focus on VR multiplayer, putting players in the shoes of duelling wizards with the ability to cast spells, summon monsters and control the environment. It’s due out this November.

Edge of Nowhere, meanwhile, was given a release date: June 6th.

“Launching one game in a year can be a complex, exciting, and occasionally nerve-wracking endeavour,” wrote Insomniac founder Ted Price on the studio’s blog.

“Developing five games simultaneously for 2016 launches on console, PC and VR might sound as crazy as it sometimes feels, but that’s just what we’re doing here at Insomniac. And we’re loving it.”
