Oculus last night named a number of titles that it hopes will win it its first generation of virtual reality gaming fans.
Chief among the titles on show was a new VR exclusive from Ratchet & Clank, Sunset Overdrive and Resistance developer Insomniac Games – Edge of Nowhere. Studio boss Ted Price admitted on stage that he had at one stage been a VR sceptic, but was now fully behind the technology.
Also on show was Chronos by Gunfire Games, which was yesterday named as the developer of Nordic Games’ Darksiders 2 Deathinitive Edition.
Other titles included Damaged Core by High Voltage Software (Injustice, Saints Row IV), VR Sports Challenge by Sanzaru Games, Esper by Coatsink and a new VR version of Airmech by Carbon Games.
A number of studios were named as partners, too, including Square Enix, Ready at Dawn, Climax, Harmonix, 4A Games and Glu.
