Jobs to lift lid on iPhone 4.0 tonight

Steve Jobs is taking to the stage tonight at Apple’s WWDC event, and its expected that he will lift the lid on the iPhone 4.0.

However, with so much controversy already surrounding the device, is there much still to learn about the iPad’s forthcoming sibling?

Perhaps the answer is no. Most famously, there was the Gizmodo incident, when what is believed to be a prototype iPhone 4 left in a bar in Redwood City, disguised to look like a standard consumer 3GS, was dismantled by the website.

That blew the lid on the fact that, like an iPad, the device uses a Micro-SIM, and also made clear that the iPhone 4 includes a larger battery and higher-resolution screen.
