Kojima to show off Fox Engine at GDC

Kojima Productions will give the public its first good look at the new Fox Engine.

The tech is being used in the open world Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes teased last August.

Studio founder and MGS creator Hideo Kojima will be joined by members of his team for the talk "Photorealism through the eyes of a ‘Fox’ – The core of Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes (Presented by Kojima Productions)."

The presentation will feature an in-depth look at the new game engine, and focus on "key components and unique methods Kojima Productions utilizes in the graphics arena" for Ground Zeroes.

The team will also show off the engine’s lighting system, character realism, environmental changes, graphics techniques and the Fox Engine tools.
