Several additional tools offered with StudioGPUâ??s visualization and rendering software

MachStudio Pro adds suite of updates

Visualization and rendering software MachStudio Pro has been updated with a cluster of additional features.

Version’s key addition will be a dedicated exporter that is claimed to allow fast and easy exporting of geometry, animation, and cameras. The new addition allows exporters for Maya 8.5, 2008, 2009 and Max 9 and 2009.

The tool’s creators StudioGPU also claim that artists can update animation files in Maya or Max and those additions will automatically update in MachStudio Pro. “You can even update just a sequence of animation frames and plug-them right into the MachStudio Pro scene,” said the company.

Also added to the new edition is a library of 107 unique, high-quality materials that can be applied to any material node – from fabric to glass, paper, wood, marble, and so on. There is also a new animatable fog tool that allows the appearance of a fog effect to change as the eye-point moves in relation to the image.

StudioGPU, based in California, has added that the update includes enhanced shader controls, diffuse and specular render passes, and unicode support.
