A new recruitment firm for the UK game industry is pledging to offer clients a flat fee for all staffing projects regardless of role.
Games Natives is charging a single £575 rate for all recruitment ad campaigns – regardless of whether its clients are seeking CEOs or artists or managing directors, coders, studio heads or testers.
The new company will be headed up by a familiar industry face in Rich Sturgess, a former sales executive for GamesIndustry.biz and Edge.
In announcing the new group Sturgess pointed to the apparent flaws of “traditional” recruitment methods.
“The games industry continues to be one of the fastest growing industries in the UK,” he said, “but it can be still reliant on traditional methods for recruitment, with high costs and a slow turnaround.
“By sharing our strengths and tools within online recruitment marketing, we’ll keep costs down and improve candidate awareness for our clients.
“Games Natives bridges the gap between traditional job posting and recruitment agency services by adding strength and response to any current recruitment strategy.”
