Nintendo Labo’s Garage Mode will teach kids node-based programming

With every video Nintendo releases delving further into the Labo, the crazier it seems. A new episode of its YouTube series showcasing the potential of Labo delves deeper into the Garage Mode of the… platform? Can we call Labo a platform? With the ability for kids (and kids at heart) to create their own games, we suppose we can.

The Garage Mode seems to be a fantastic introduction to node-based programming, which could kickstart a whole new generation of game developers. The depth and power of the tool seems almost unrestricted and, if there’s one thing we know about user generated content, we’re likely to see some truly strange and unique stuff coming from players.
