Preloaded hires new trio of producers

London-based developer Preloaded has announced a fresh round of hires, bringing three high-profile producers into the fold.

Jemma Harris (above left) joins as senior producer, having held similar positions at Peter Molyneux’s studios Lionhead and 22Cans. Meanwhile, Charu Desodt (above) takes up the same position, leaving her role at Microsoft’s Lift London studio.

Finally, Yukiko Goto (above right) joins as producer after serving in the same role at Sony London, where she worked on SingStar, Gran Turismo 5 and the Ratchet & Clank games.

The three have been hired to help Preloaded expand its remit, according to GamesIndustry. The studio specialises in developing educational titles and ‘games with purpose’, and now plans to explore the possibilities of virtual and augmented reality.

"Preloaded has always hired the best,” said head of production Toby Allen. “The current team is a unique blend of experience and this latest set of hires underlines our commitment to make brilliant games which go beyond entertainment.

"We are operating at the edge of the industry, pushing the perception of games and what they can do. These latest hires show that traditional games-people are looking to serious games as the means to push the medium we all love."
