One million euros up for grabs for up to three winners

Registration begins for Make The Game dev contest

German media outlet Computec has opened registrations for its €1 million development contest Make The Game 2013.

The competition is open to any developer working on browser, social or mobile games, with registrations ending on May 15th.

Games entered must come with a video and instructions on how to play, with the deadline for submissions on June 30th.

Developers who take part in the competition can win up to €250,000 in cash as non-refundable advanced royalty payment and up to €750,000 in advertising budget for print and online ads.

Up to three developers will be selected as winners in August, with the winning entries officially announced after individual publishing contracts have been signed.

Past winners of the contest include German developer SlipShift for strategy title Reborn Horizon and UK outfit 9cubes, which is set to release its first title for Facebook, iOS and Android in April.
