Game studio reps present at Animation Festival

Rockstar, Sony, Sega and NaturalMotion back Bradford’s games event

Key games studios have signed up to speak at the University of Bradford’s Animation Festival.

Senior games designer at Sega Col Rodgers, head of arts at Rockstar Leeds Ian Bowden, Tara Saunders from Sony, discussing training in the games industry and Oliver Dunn, lead animator at Natural Motion, are all special guests at the games strand at BAF.

The event is also screening a number of documentaries about games culture, including Playing Columbine and Second Skin.

“With speakers from Rockstar, Sony, Sega and Natural Motion already confirmed with more to come this year’s edition of BAF Game looks set to be the best yet,” said Tom Woolley, director of BAF Game. “We’re also screening some fantastic new films that explore various aspects of how games have impacted society, so I’m looking forward to the discussions they inspire at the festival.”

The event takes place from Wednesday November 12th to Saturday November 15th. Details can be found at the official site.
