Star studios are preparing for major talks at GDC Europe, event organiser UBM has announced.
BioWare, Crytek and Splash Damage are just some of the headline speakers for the Cologne event, which runs Monday through Wednesday, August 15th to 17th.
The range of topics to discuss have widened too, with UBM lining up experts in business, marketing, game design, production, programming and visual arts.
BioWare’s Scylla Costa and Brenon Holmes will explain how and why the studio has renovated its character design model.
Splash Damage’s Neil Alphonso, meanwhile, is set to discuss how his team tackled design challenges during the development of its flagship title Brink.
And Crytek’s Peter Hall will explain how he managed to keep schedules tight and communication clear with two studios and over 100 programmers to work with.
Event keynotes will be announced soon, UBM has said.
