Publishing label looking to bolster its portfolio at November 12th event

Sold Out heads to Interface

Hot on the heels of the firm entering the digital publishing sector, Sold Out has signed up as an event partner.

The publishing label is looking to use the event to bolster its publishing portfolio, as well as “to get a sense of what direction everyone is trying to push the industry forwards”.

“I am of course excited for a chance to talk to developers about their games, and explain what Sold Out Digital is all about,” commented Joshua Garrity.

“But I’m also interested in getting a read on what developers think about the current state of publishing, and how it could evolve in the future.”

The company joins Localize Direct, Audio Kinetic, Unity and Green Man Gaming who are all lining up to support the indie developers attending Interface, which takes place on Thursday November 12th at St Mary’s Church, near Baker Street, London.

Publishers also attending the event to sign new titles include 505 Games, KISS and Channel 4’s All4Games.

The interactive content marketplace, which combines funding advice, private pitching, conference sessions, games showcasing and more, returns after a successful May debut which attracted some 300 games professionals.

Interface is structured to be as affordable as possible for games businesses of all sizes, with the basic indie expo pass free and indie tickets for the meeting system (which guarantees you a day’s schedule of private meetings with publishers looking to sign new games) priced at £59 +VAT. Indie game expo spaces are £199 + VAT and include involvement in the meeting system.

For publishers and larger studios, an expo pass is £20 + VAT, and the meeting system rate is £149 + VAT. Publishers looking to host meetings for the day pay £500 + VAT.

The Interface Meeting System is at the heart of the day, with private meetings between delegates and hosts. NewBay Media take all the details of attendees and hosts and matchmake them, based on requirements and needs. Plus there’s a conference and public expo running throughout the day.
