Valve’s Steam Machines and new controller will launch on November 10th.
Pre-orders for the hardware and gamepad have now opened on the firm’s digital store. Only available at present to US customers, the Alienware Steam Machines start from $449, while the Syber systems start from $499. UK orders are expected to open soon, as well as more hardware options from other manufactuers.
The controller, which can be pre-ordered in the UK, costs £39.99.
Steam Link, which allows users to stream all their content from their PC or Steam Machine to any room in the house via their home network, is available for £39.99. GAME meanwhile has been named as the exclusive UK retail partner.
Those who pre-order the controller, Steam Link and Steam Machines – when UK orders open – will receive their purchases on October 16th, a few weeks ahead of launch.
"We are super curious to find out which products customers try first, what their experiences are, and how that learning can help is continue to expand their Steam experience in the days and years following launch," Valve’s DJ Powers told Polygon.
"Our goal is to expand Steam’s capabilities beyond the desktop."
