PlayStation title set to gross over $1m, most successful Curve release in two years

The Swapper is Curve’s biggest launch yet

Curve Digital is celebrating its biggest launch since the company began in the form of PlayStation title The Swapper.

Released for PS4, PS3 and Vita, the title is on course to gross over $1m in the next month across the three formats, according to Curve.

The Swapper was originally developed for PC and Mac by Finnish studio Facepalm Games, with Curve handling its release on home consoles. It is also the first title Curve has released at retail, thanks to a partnership with GAME.

This launch is another step in Curve’s journey to becoming a successful publisher of indie games.

"Traditionally, if you wanted your game to appear on a console, you would need to work with both a publisher and a porting house to get the job done," said MD Jason Perkins.

"At Curve, we keep everything in-house from development right through to submission, QA and marketing."
