Code from game client also made freely available to developers

Tiny Speck releases 10,000 art assets from cancelled MMO Glitch to public domain

Developer Tiny Speck has released more than 10,000 assets from its cancelled browser MMO Glitch into the public domain.

The social MMO was shut down last year after failing to attract a sustainable userbase. The title’s failure also resulted in a number of layoffs at the Vancouver and San Francisco-based developer.

The studio however has now made the entire library of art assets from the title freely available for public use. Code from the game client is also included to help developers work with the assets.

Tiny Speck has relinquished ownership of copyright on the assets, meaning they can be downloaded and used by anyone, even for commercial use.

For more information and to downloaded the game’s assets, visit the official website.
