Slew of projects expected across all platforms from new engine deal

Twelve studios license Trinigyâ??s Vision Engine

Trinigy has announced the licensing of its Vision Engine to twelve separate European studios for cross-platform projects.

The news comes just after Trinigy launched the new Vision Engine 8.

Engine licensees include Rainfire Entertainment, who are building PC and Wii title Germany’s Next Top Model 2010; Neutron Games, working on PC title Handball Challenge; Quadriga Games, putting together Emergency 2012 for the PC; Silent Dreams, building Grotesque Tactics for PC and Consoles; Chimera Entertainment, working on Word Wizards for PC, XBLA and PSN; and Crenetic Studios/Headup Games building Trapped Dead for PC.

Other studios who have licensed the engine for undisclosed titles include Z-Software GmbH, HD Publishing and Most Wanted Entertainment, Calibre Games and Caipirinha Games; Unexpected GmbH, Reality Twist and ByteRockers.

”There is a reason why we’ve licensed the Vision Engine for multiple projects now. Trinigy has a unique heritage of staying close to its customers and growing along with them and their evolving technical needs,” said managing director at Chimera Chris Kluckner.

“This customer-oriented approach shows in the dedicated support they provide, and in the versatility, performance and stability of the Vision Engine. We like the pleasant way of working with Trinigy’s staff, and are very happy with their proficiency and reliability,” he added.

“We are delighted to see our technology being adopted by such a diverse group of developers. It’s been clear to us for some time that the market is expanding in new directions, and that our technology needed to be versatile enough to handle the market changes.” said Trinigy GM Felix Roeken.

“The number and variety of our recent deals is solid proof that our technology and our company are successfully evolving with the marketplace,” he concluded.
