TwelveJ brings Pixar artist to London and Liverpool

Pixar artist Jeremy Vickery has teamed up with games training firm TwelveJ to organise two talks in London and Liverpool.

Vickery, who has worked on Pixar films including The Incredibles, Cars, Ratatouille and Wall-E, will present a session entitled ‘Digital Lighting and Practical Colour’, where he’ll talk about some of Pixar’s secrets and techniques. Geomerics representatives will also be present to discuss how Vickers’ techniques can be applied to real-time games.

“We’re thrilled to bring Jeremy to both London and Liverpool," said Kumar Jacob, founder and managing director of TwelveJ.

"Sessions like these refresh, invigorate and enthuse staff for very little investment. Attendees will get the chance to learn from a true maestro.”

Jeremy Vickery added: ”My hope is that the sessions will be enlightening to both new artists as well as seasoned professionals. Audiences from previous talks have told me that leave seeing the world with different eyes and a better understanding of how to create more stunning artwork, which I find very rewarding. I’m honoured and delighted to be able to give this presentation for TwelveJ.”

The day-long session runs from 2 – 5:30pm and will take place in Liverpool on October 16th and London on the 17th. More info and booking details can be found at the TwelveJ website.
