Latest Develop 100 launched on July 26th in association with Ukie - hotlist also includes list of every single British studio

UK’s top 100 games developers are named in two weeks

The first volume of 2013’s Develop 100 book will be published in two weeks time, with a special launch event at Ukie’s new London offices.

Develop has spent the last three months collating a list of every single UK games studio, and evaluating their performance to pick the top 100.

The UK Studio Hotlist will be published on Friday, July 26th and for a limited launch period will be totally free of charge.

Develop 100 has been published for the last nine years, and has ranked the world’s studios using a variety of metrics.

This year’s first volume includes our top 100 of British studios, with profiles of each, plus a comprehensive list of EVERY games developer in the UK. It is the first time such a resource has been collated – and the first time it will have been made so widely available.

Further volumes will be published later in 2013.

You will be able to find out who we’ve chosen for this ‘games development who’s who’ by downloading the Develop digital magazine app and then adding the Develop 100 when it goes live.

Readers and industry professionals are also invited to our special launch event with Ukie, where Develop will present key findings from the book, and discuss what it takes to build a modern games studio in a special panel discussion with four of the studios on the list.

The event takes place 2.30pm to 3.30pm at Ukie’s new offices in central London (UKIE, 21-27 Lambs Conduit Street, London, WC1N 3BD) and is open to all – but spaces are limited. Please email confirm your attendance.
