Unity chief executive David Helgason has backed a new Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign for an innovative game development tool.
Code Hero is a fully interactive game that uses the Unity engine to teach people to build their own creations. The first levels in the game will teach users the basics, while the final ‘level’ in the game is to publish your own work.
Helgason has pledged $1,337 towards the crowdsourcing project, which has now made $18,722.
However, the Kickstarter deadline is seven days away, with about $81,000 still needed.
The project, developed by Alex Peake, is currently in beta. Kickstarter funds will be used to finalise the project.
