Developers will be able to take advantage of an early access version of Unity for PS4 in April.
A partnership between Sony and Unity to bring the engine to PS4 was announced last year and that deal is now coming to fruition.
As well as supporting PlayStation 4, fully integrated solutions for Unity are now available for PS3 and Vita.
The news comes as Sony announced GameMaker is free for all SCE-licenced developers making titles for PS4, PS3 and Vita.
Yesterday Unity revealed Unity 5, which will integrate Geomerics’s lighting tech Enlighten, Imagination Technologies’ PowerVR Ray Tracing tool and SpeedTree, as well as a host of other new features including a revamped audio pipeline and new audio mixer.
