Notifications will also inform devs of updates and discounts

Unity improves Asset Store with new search functions

A couple of new features have been added to the Unity Asset Store to help devs find the tools they need for their game.

According to Unity’s blog, the store’s search function has been revamped to enable users to narrow down what they’re looking for. Unity devs can now filter results by things such as price, last update and the size of the asset package.

Unity has also introduced a notification system that can keep devs up-to-date with their previous or intended purchases on the story.

Notification settings can be modified to your liking, but by and large you’ll be updated when a package you have previously purchased or downloaded receives a new update, or when an item on your wish list gets discounted.

It will also notify you when a publisher replies to one of your reviews, helping you continue the conversation.
