Video: Unreal Engine 4’s new features explained

Epic has released a new video walking developers through the new features that come with Unreal Engine 4.

In the video Epic senior technical writer Zak Parrish discusses features such as the new material system, Blueprints, VFX and level building. He also shows developers how to use the tools in the editor itself.

Epic has now made Unreal Engine 4 available to all developers through a new subscription-based business model.

Developers can now licence the game engine for $19 a month, with five per cent of gross revenue from any sales going to Epic. The development platform is available for PC, Mac, iOS and Android.
