Mexican independent studio using Trinigy's tech for PC title

Xibalba picks Vision Engine

Xibalba has signed up to use Trinigy’s Vision Engine for a forthcoming game, Icebreakers.

The team, based in Monterry, Mexico, are aiming to have their ‘new fast-paced extreme winter sports’ title ready for launch next year – and are currently targeting the PC, but may expand to consoles later.

“During the early stages of development we realized that the Vision Engine would allow us to bring our original idea of Icebreakers to reality,” said Ricardo Villarreal, founder and CEO of Xibalba Studios.

“Additionally, the Vision Engine is compatible with Wii, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, allowing a smooth cross-platform workflow; this will let us bring Icebreakers to the next generation of home consoles in the future.”
