Teams that compete in next weekend’s TIGA GameHack could win a cash prize of £5,000.
This record prize amount will be awarded to the team that creates the most impressive or inventive game in 24 hours when this year’s competition returns on Saturday, November 16th.
The 2013 GameHack will be held at both Abertay University in Dundee and Pinewood Studios in Buckinghamshire, but only one winner will be named from across the two events.
The £5,000 breaks down as £2,000 as a cash prize, plus £3,000 that will go towards publishing the winning game on Android microconsole GameStick. The winning team will also receive half a day of motion capture studio time with Centroid 3D.
If you want to register for the TIGA GameHack 2013, simply head over to the official website. Tickets are £5, and all revenues go to games charity SpecialEffect.
