Porting and testing firm enhances its mobile service

Babel to use Javaground Xpress

Babel has licenced Javaground’s Xpress technology to power up its porting service.

The Xpress Suite aims to facilitate the development of mobile games by reducing the work involved in creating the complete set of Java and Brew versions.

“Mobile content providers have to port to literally thousands of handsets and to an ever-increasing number of global operators, whilst controlling costs and ensuring on time delivery,” said Algy Williams, MD Babel Media.

“There are very few major global partners that can help them, so adding the Javaground Xpress technology to our armoury of tools gives us an additional cost and speed advantage which we can pass onto our clients.”

Alexandre Kral, CEO of Javaground USA, added: “We are very pleased to partner with Babel. They have an enviable reputation for delivering a quality service and their adoption of Xpress will make them even stronger.”

Babel, which has offices in the UK, Canada and India, has been working on expanding and enhancing its mobile services recently: last week it also launched a mobile WAP portal assessment service.
