Cecil, Braben and Ninja Theoryâ??s Midgley set to attend

BAF Game 2007 lineup revealed

Preparation for the Bradford Animation Festival continues apace, with the speaker line-up of the event’s Game strand revealed.

Amongst the roster is Charles Cecil, who will talk about interactive narrative and challenges in designing stories for such a non-linear media. David Braben will also be in attendance, and will reveal a new title in addition to talking about the development process at Frontier.

In addition, Ninja Theory’s lead animatior, Guy Midgley, will present a talk about the role of character animation in a next-gen title like Heavenly Sword.

On the education side, representatives from the Games Academy will be on hand to talk about their scheme that unites Masters courses at Bradford, Hull and Sheffield Hallam universities, and there will be a showcase from some of the teams that participated in this year’s Dare to be Digital competition.
