Bandai Namco has joined the line-up of publishers looking to meet with indie developers at next month’s Interface event.
The firm will host meetings with developers alongside the likes of Channel 4 Games, Kiss, Sold Out, Green Man Gaming and Double 11 who are all looking to sign new products at the event.
“Bandai Namco are delighted to be attending this fast growing event,” said Bandai Namco’s designer Kenton Fletcher.
“Interface offers a great potential to meet upcoming development teams and gain an early look at their exciting new creative projects. As one of the world’s largest entertainment companies, Bandai Namco Entertainment is always looking for the games of tomorrow which will excite and delight gamers young and old. By engaging with talented new development teams, we hope to establish beneficial long term relationships and perhaps discover the next game for Bandai Namco Entertainment’s portfolio.”
Interface is structured to be as affordable as possible for games businesses of all sizes, with the basic indie expo pass free and indie tickets for the meeting system (which guarantees you a day’s schedule of private meetings with publishers looking to sign new games) priced at £59 +VAT. Indie game expo spaces are £199 + VAT and include involvement in the meeting system.
For publishers and larger studios, an expo pass is £20 + VAT, and the meeting system rate is £149 + VAT. Publishers looking to host meetings for the day pay £500 + VAT.
The Interface Meeting System is at the heart of the day, with private meetings between delegates and hosts. NewBay Media take all the details of attendees and hosts and matchmake them, based on requirements and needs. Plus there’s a conference and public expo running throughout the day.
