Servers to close this month, but MMO may yet return

Battle for Graxia closes two months after release

Recently revamped MMO, Battle for Graxia, is to be shutdown on June 27th by its creators, just two months after its release.

Graxia maker, Petroglyph Games, announced the news on its official forum.

Battle for Graxia originally launched as a reboot of Petroglyph’s earlier Rise of Immortals MMO release, intend to make it more like other popular player-vs-player MMOs in a bid to widen its appeal.

Due to the closure, the studio will no longer be accepting payment for Petroglyph coins, while those that have previously purchased in-game currency with receive bonus Petroglyph coins in the next 24 hours to purchase items for a limited time.

The servers will be shutdown on June 27th, but the game may yet continue, according to comments from a studio representative.

“We reserve the right to bring BFG back online at some time and hope to do so in the future,” the announcement on the official Battle for Graxia forum reads.
