Ubisoft studio to use Trinigy's engine for upcoming game

Blue Byte picks Vision Engine

Ubisoft-owned studio Blue Byte has licensed Trinigy’s Vision Engine 7.

The German studio, which created the Settlers franchise, will be using the recently-unveiled latest version of the engine for a forthcoming title.

“Blue Byte is a highly renowned studio and we are delighted to welcome them as a customer. We are proud to support their team with our technology,” said Dag Frommhold, managing partner at Trinigy.

Dietmar Meschede, head of programming at Blue Byte, added: “We have been evaluating multiple technologies. Trinigy’s Vision Engine and their outstanding support convinced us all along the line. They are a perfect fit for us.”
