Members to receive 100% revenue share on Samsung apps for first six months

Chillingo opens indie developer portal

Mobile games publisher Chillingo has opened a new indie portal for game developers.

The new website, called 100% indie, will include tools, articles and information on game development to help “encourage and motivate” indies to make games.

Developers who sign up to the scheme will also receive a 100 per cent revenue share on Samsung apps between March 4th and September 3rd.

After this initial period, the revenue share will drop to 90 per cent between September 4th and March 3rd 2014, then to 80 per cent from March 4th 2014 to March 3rd 2015, and finally to 70 per cent after March 4th 2015.

Chillingo, owned by EA, has previously published mobile titles such as Angry Birds, Cut The Rope, Feed Me Oil and Catapult King.

For more information on the scheme, visit the official website.
