Corona Labs has announced that its mobile games SDK is now free to download to everyone.

Anyone who now registers on the company’s website will gain access to the full SDK previously reserved to Pro subscribers, doing away with the limited Starter and Basic tiers.

Corona is also offering existing subscribers free upgrades to some of its other software, including CoronaCards Enterprise and both iOS and Android versions of CoronaCards.

The firm also announced it will add Mac App and Win32 App support to the Corona platform. This development is still in its early stages, but a beta is expected to start soon.

Finally, Corona parent Fuse Powered is working on a ‘player-centric monetisation engine’ that allows devs to analyse their users’ behaviour and work out how to deliver the most relevant in-app purchase offers and rewarded video ads.

Fuse Powered and Corona at at the GDC Expo all week to demonstrate the mobile SDK, monetisation engine and other products. If you’re in San Francisco, head to Booth No.1244.
