Counter-Strike: Global Offensive players have raised more than $150,000 for community map makers.

The scheme, called Operation Payback, gives players access to user-made maps for the game on official dedicated servers for a fee of $5.99.

Money raised through the initiative was then given back to the level creators.

Seven maps were included in the scheme, including Museum, Downtown, Thunder, Favela, Motel, Seaside and Library.

On the official website, Valve has stated Operation Payback is the first of an ongoing series of limited-time updates aimed at rewarding the game’s most popular map makers.

The current initiative ends on July 31st.
