Extra time granted to enter British Council's Creative Economy Unit contest

Deadline extended for entrepreneurial award

The British Council’s Creative Economy Unit has extended the deadline for applications to its UK Young Interactive Entrepreneur award.

Now, those wishing to enter the contest to win one of six placements to travel to India on a two week study tour have until September 16th to register their interest.

The award scheme, which hopes to involve more young entrepreneurs in the UK’s creative industries, will also grant one overall winner £5,000 to spend on a collaborative project in the Indian sector.

Applicants should be 25 to 35 with at least three years experience and hail from the interactive industry. More information can be found at: www.creativeconomy.org.uk/ukyie09
