The only list that highlights the games industries best young talent returns.

Develop 30 Under 30 2017 nominations NOW OPEN

You’ve been asking and we’ve been listening. The Develop 30 Under 30 list returns, in association with OPM.

We’re looking to showcase 30 of the best young talent in the games industry, as we have done for the past six years. And in our March issue, we’ll publish 2017’s most exciting and ambitious young developers.

So what are the rules? Well, the feature is open to anyone involved in video games development, from larger studios to new indies, and from anywhere in the world. We’ll be choosing the 15 men and 15 women in the after the end of submissions and they’ll be published in the March 2017 issue of Develop magazine.

One of the big rules is in the title. You need to be under 30 years of age after January 1st, 2017. Anyone that has hit 30 prior to this is not eligible. To apply or nominate someone, you’ll need to send us:

  • a high-resolution photo of your nominee
  • their job title and place of employment (don’t worry, independents can still be nominated)
  • their date of birth
  • a paragraph on why they should earn a place in this year’s 30 Under 30

We’ll also be giving a list of honorable mention as we always do and dedicated a good part of the magazine. We also hope to bring you interviews with previous 30 Under 30 recipents to talk about how things have been since they made the list and what they’re doing now. So please do get in touch if you are a previous recpient.

To apply or nominate, send the required information to develop30under30@nbmedia.com with the subject "30 Under 30 Nomination". The nominations close at 5pm on JANUARY 31ST 2017. Anything after this will not be considered.
