Hilton Metropole hotel to once again host industry event

Develop in Brighton returns in 2014 on July 8th

The Develop Conference will return to Brighton next year from July 8th to the 10th.

The event will take place at the Hilton Metropole Hotel in Brighton.

Over 1,600 developers attended this year’s conference, the eighth in its history.

More than 90 sessions took place over three days, and included keynotes from PS4 lead system architect Mark Cerny on Sony’s journey to the PS4, which you can watch here, Microsoft Lift London’s Lee Schuneman and Epic founder Tim Sweeney, who was interviewed on stage by Develop editor Will Freeman.

A plethora of other developers and industry execs also spoke at the event, including Double Fine technical director Nathan Martz, Fireproof Games co-founder Barry Meade, Boss Alien MD Jason Avent, Remode CEO Ella Romanos and Born Ready Games CEO James Brooksby.

The conference was also home to the expo, which housed stands from companies such as Microsoft, Valve, King, Ubisoft Reflections and Epic.
