Senior Lecturer in Computer Science / Computer Games Programming – University of Sunderland

The department is located within a modern, award-winning, purpose-built campus with state-of-the-art facilities. We offer a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses, and many of our undergraduate courses offer an optional industrial placement.
Our staff have research expertise in a wide-range of areas and are involved in a number of projects. We are a leading partner in the Sunderland Software City initiative, which aims to grow the software industry in our city and region, giving our students the chance to become the new wave of software entrepreneurs.
The role holder will provide high quality teaching in computer games programming and development to undergraduate students, be active in research and reach out activities, and contribute to the administration of modules and programmes related to the computing disciplines and games software development in particular.
