YouTube ad revenues is becoming a divisive subject among games publishers, but Devolver Digital has made its stance more than clear.
The Hotline Miami firm has clarified that yes, YouTubers are free to stream footage from its games and retain any ad revenue generated by these videos, according to MCV.
The company even set up a new website – canipostandmonetizevideosofdevolvergames.com – which simply states "Yes!", although other variations on this can be seen if you keep hitting Refresh.
The site and the company's latest statement are presumably responses to Nintendo's new Creators Program, which allows YouTubers to use footage from a selection of Nintendo games and receive shares of the generated ad revenue.
MCV reported that some prominent YouTube personalities, including PewDiePie, have been highly critical of the move.
