Disney has published full details about its upcoming smartphone, due for release in Japan this February.
The handset is a rebranded version of Sharp's Android-based Galapagos 003SH, whose big selling point is its 3D-capable 3.8-inch display, along with a 9.6-megapixel camera, built-in TV tuner and 1GHz processor.
The handset will be the first to access the Disney Market app store, for users to download more apps and content for the device.
The news comes as Disney realigns its Interactive business to focus less on tripl-A development and more on digital, mobile and social games.
That shift in perspective has already cost around 200 jobs at the company, according to national media reports.
