Users can now also register non-Origin games to digital distribution platform

EA adds live video broadcasting to Origin

EA is rolling out a new live game broadcasting service on its digital storefront Origin.

Partnering with Twitch, users can now broadcast their gameplay live to other users around the world.

To view the streams however Origin users must go to the Twitch.tv website.

The service is also currently in beta, with further functionality and features to be added in future updates to the platform.

As well as adding live game broadcasting, EA will now also allow users of the platform to add non-Origin games, a feature similar to rival digital distribution service Steam.

EA recently revealed that more than 30 million users had registered on Origin, with 70 developers providing content for the store.
