Two forthcoming projects announced

EA and Spielberg talk games development

EA and Steven Spielberg have discussed their ongoing collaboration, formally revealing two new projects after yesterday’s talk about the new games.

The first, an emotional action-adventure for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC, plays to the strengths of the partnership by linking story development to the player’s actions. Also in development is a Wii-exclusive minigame collection that will also enable users to build structures and games with blocks using the Wii remote controller.

"I am a gamer myself and game development has always intrigued me. Now I’ve been able to jump in and do it, enjoying the creative collaboration with the EALA team on our first two games and I feel we have two incredibly unique projects in development," said Spielberg

"Steven’s vision as both a storyteller and a gamemaker makes partnering with him an incredible experience," noted general manager Neil Young.

"Together we’re making games that are unique and that we feel will each move the medium in their own way, [games] that we hope can also move people emotionally."
